Sure, you're good at capturing and battling Pokémon, but how good are you at solving puzzles? In Pokémon Puzzle League, you're after a new hotshot, the mysterious Puzzle Master. To get him, you'll need to outdo 16 trainers in fast-paced competition. The game itself is simple enough: match three blocks of the same color and make them disappear, sending the above blocks down. You can even create combos that will add garbage blocks to your competition's pile of woes. Pokémon Puzzle League features six different modes of play, including a competitive two-player mode.

V-Hard difficulty setting: Hold Z and press L(2), A, and B at the difficulty selection screen. Alternately, successfully complete the game under the Hard difficulty setting. S-Hard difficulty setting: Hold Z and press R, L, A, B at the difficulty selection screen. Alternately, successfully complete the game under the V-Hard difficulty setting. Mewtwo level: Hold Z and press B, Up, L, B, A, Start, A, Up, R at the trainer selection screen. Alternately, successfully complete the game under the S-Hard difficulty setting. Turbo mode: Hold Z and press B, A, L(2) at the title screen. The game speed can now be set over 50 in marathon mode. Alternately, earn over 10,000 points in the Time Zone. Secret characters: Hold Z on controller one and simultaneously press L + R on controllers one and two at the two player trainer selection screen. Alternately, successfully complete Spa Service. Taunts: Select any two player game mode. Have player one select a character, then repeatedly press A.

1. Unlock the Mewtwo Level
Start a 2P Stadium game, then go to the Trainer Selection screen. Using either the Control Pad or Control Stick, enter the following button sequence on Controller one: hold the Z Button, then press B Button, Up, L Button, B Button, A Button, Start, A Button, Up, R Button. The game will immediately begin on the Mewtwo Level if entered correctly.
2. Unlock the Very Hard Difficulty Level
Go to the Game Settings screen in 1P Stadium Mode. Hold the Z Button, then press L Button, L Button, A Button, B Button.
3. Unlock the Super Hard Difficulty Level
Go to the Game Settings screen in 1P Stadium Mode. Hold the Z Button, then press R Button, L Button, A Button, B Button.
4. Unlock Speed Marathon Mode
To increase the maximum speed of a Marathon game to 99, go to the title screen. Hold the Z Button, then press B Button, A Button, L Button, L Button.
5. Unlock Hidden Characters
Go to 2P Stadium mode, have both players hold the Z Buttons, then press the L and R Buttons simultaneously on the Trainer Selection screen.
6. Unlock All Puzzle Levels
On the title screen, hold the Z Button then press A Button, B Button, R Button, A Button, A Button, B Button, R Button, A Button. If the code is entered correctly, all of the puzzle levels will be open in the Puzzle University.
